Merry Christmas to all you computer users out there and a Happy New Year from all us dragons at Wyvern Technology. We look forward to helping you in the New Year with your old and new toys.

Don’t forget to keep updating your antivirus signatures, running your maintenance wizard and backing up your material – preferably to floppy or zip.

A few keyboard shortcuts to finish off the year

Shift + Delete permanently deletes files instead of sending them to the Recycle Bin. This is handy for what you suspect to be infected email messages, attachments and infected files

Alt + f4 closes the current application and when you have nothing open, shuts down the computer

Control + A selects all your text/files

Control + P prints
