Sometimes when you have visited a site on the Internet, you get a small window connected to it that you can’t close after you have left the site. You can minimize it, but if you click on the cross icon which normally closes such windows, nothing happens.

Here is what you can do:

Hold down the Control and Alt keys with fingers from your left hand and while you are holding them down, tap the Delete key.

This brings up the Close Program dialogue box.

Make sure that the window you want to close is highlighted in the list you see and then click on End Task – Problem solved.
